The smaller your living space the harder it may be to organize your space. But this is not the case if you utilize the following tips and tricks to make the most of every space within your home:

Declutter

When you are organizing a small space then it helps to first get rid of as much clutter as possible to help start with a clean space. You need to take everything out and try and make an immediate decision whether you should donate, keep, or throw these items away. It helps to have boxes readily available when you start decluttering because you can easily get rid of items once they are in their designated boxes. Once you have sorted through all your items, you can go through your keep pile again to see if you have any other items that you can get rid of to maximize your space even more.
